Yuntianhua group is a comprehensive enterprise group with yuntianhua group co., LTD. (hereinafter referred to as "the group") as its parent company, holding a group of production and operation enterprises.

Yunnan natural gas chemical plant, the predecessor of the group, was one of the 13 sets of large chemical fertilizers introduced from abroad in the 1970s. It was built in 1974 and put into operation in 1977. In 1997, yunnan natural gas chemical plant was transformed into a wholly state-owned limited liability company authorized by the people's government of yunnan province. After the restructuring, the group, on the premise of doing a good job in production and management, firmly seized a series of major historical opportunities, through the implementation of a series of effective measures to promote the sustainable and healthy development of the enterprise.

After 30 years of unremitting efforts, the group from a single nitrogen fertilizer production enterprises, develop with chemical fertilizers, organic chemical industry, glass fiber, salt and salt chemical industry, new material phosphating acquisition platform, phosphorus chemical industry, cross-industry, cross-regional, cross ownership of enterprise group, built the phosphate &compound fertilizer, phosphate rock selecting, glass fiber at home and abroad of new materials and such industries with comparative advantage platform. In 2012, the group ranked 213th among China's top 500 enterprises, 107th among China's top 500 manufacturers, and 2nd among China's top 500 chemical companies.
